List of thing that need to be done with the display doctor disk to make it work.
- Insert diskette into your floppy drive (probably a: drive)
- Open a folder in your hard drive (probably c: drive)
- Select floppy drive and copy the file on the floppy disk into your new folder on your hard drive
- Double click on the icon in your new folder - at this point follow the on screen instructions N.B. the third screen offers either express or custom. Unless you are fully aware of your computer configuration choose Express Installation
- At this stage you will have a 'SciTech' icon on your desktop. Please double click this. Select 'I agree'
- The software has now identified your 'Graphics Cards'. Click on 'Compatibility Testing' and the software will then go through the motions of checking out you 'Visa Drivers' and 'Video cards' and make them compatible with the 'Animal' software. Exit and okay.
- Restart your computer and the game should install without hitch.
- If however you still have problems, after installing Display Doctor and re-starting your machine, click on 'Graphics Controller', 'Options' check the following three things (and only the following three things)
IGNORE OLD VBE BIOS
DISABLE VBE TO EXTENSIONS
DISABLE LINEAR FRAME BUFFER
If you still experience problems, you will have to get in touch with your video card supplier/manufacturer.
