"OK! Start kicking and let's get those bikes up and goin'!"
Talk about one fantastic game. This game has it all for the
motocross aficionado, everything from racing to 25 daring
stunts and tricks. It also has three bike classes and four
event types. You can tinker with the motor, suspension, brakes
(not that anyone uses brakes) and chassis with 16, count 'em,
16 levels of upgrades to make your bike handle, run, turn,
and stop better.
There are 3 different game modes that you can choose from
and a fast paced soundtrack that's sure to get your heart
pounding! PLUS there are hidden tracks, bikes and riders that
are revealed as you progress in the game. This sounds like
a lot, but there's more! Oh yes there IS more, like non-repetitive
character motion that makes sure no two crashes are the same,
a comprehensive replay system that lets you capture your coolest
moves and post them on the web, and last but certainly not
least for the serious gamer, there is support for up to eight
players over the internet!
Motocross Mania does have a bit of violence in it, but nothing
extreme.
The system requirements could be a problem because it does
require 500 MB of hard drive space, but it's worth the space!
Now let me tell ya, if you are seriously into motocross or
just a rookie fan, this is the game to play!
